UN report: Record food import prices threaten food insecurity for hundreds of millions worldwide

The UN Food and Agriculture Organization’s Food Outlook report predicts that the global food import bill, the price countries pay to secure food supplies, will rise to an all-time high of $1.94 trillion in 2022, up 10 percent from last year.
