Abstract

We currently have a corporate controlled #msm with #propaganda, #censorship, and a dearth of #localnews. We also have a plethora of small websites, with great #rss feeds but little traffic. Fortunately on #mastodon, there are many people doing #news #curation recommending the best articles.

We need to reboot a #federation of #indymedia sites, that import trusted #rss and #mastodon feeds, curate the news, organise the articles into a #taxonomy or #semanticweb, republish them, newest articles first, and exchange trusted feeds. Maybe organized as a #coop.
I would like to create a community of editors, curators, and local news sites.

GreenWashing.
    One woman on Mastodon keeps posting good articles about bad companies.  A quick search of the database always tells what they are really doing.
    Also she sometimes tells half truths, most recently about Australia, article 3 in the search showed the full story.

 Taxonomy or Semantic Web
Currently Uncensored News servers support a Taxonomy.  The tools support a semantic web, I just have not yet implemented it.
 
ActivityPub Extensions
   We need to be able to manage a distributed, replicated semantic web.  I can clearly see how to do this, from the perspective of a graph of distributed objects, I cannot yet see how to impliment the interface between servers.
