Regional mayors have added their voices to calls to make big offshore oil and gas companies pay more tax.

The Insurance as a Catalyst for Climate Action, a 20-page long New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) report, evaluated precisely 95,000 workers’ compensation claims submitted in the months of May, June, July, August, and September from 2017 to 2021, the report says.
The conclusion? “The data showed that when the heat index is over 80°F injuries resulting in claims were 45% more likely to arise and 20% more severe,” a written statement detailed
